Yesterday we shot some scenes for a new Aging Backwards segment on Daytime at Isis Cosmetic in Tampa. We're going to show you how Vaser Liposelection can sculpt a body, my body, with a non-invasive procedure that doesn't even require anethesia! Dr. Caroline Lomboy is fabulous. I must confess I was a little nervous about undergoing the procedure before our interview but not now! She really knows her stuff. So, today at one p.m. I'm off to get sculpted. Dr. Lomboy said I'm the "perfect candidate" for Vaser because I work out, eat right, am very healthy, I'm the proper weight for my height with no huge weight swings and I just have a few stubborn "pockets" of fat to get rid of. The Vaser uses ultrasound to melt the fat and then gently suctions it out. It can target the fat cells alone, basically "ignoring" blood vessels, so there's no blood and much less swelling and bruising than with the old-fashioned liposuction. Coming soon to Isis: SmartLipo. This is even more "cutting edge" (pun intended) than Vaser because it uses lasers to break up the fat with the added benefit of tightening the skin at the same time. Don't worry, we're going to shoot the SmartLipo as soon as it comes in. It's so new, nobody in the Tampa Bay area even has it yet, but Isis will be the first.
