I want to wish you all a happy, healthy, properous and youthful new year. Did you make your list of resolutions? Mine includes, as always, “Keep Aging Backwards.” People ask me why I write down that resolution when it’s what I do every day and I tell them, “Writing it down makes it happen.” In addition to meditation and visualization, I like to write down my goals and dreams, put them away in a safe place and look at them later. Invariably when I take out my list a year later, I can cross off many of the goals as “done.” One of my best friends, Paige in Los Angeles, writes down her goals and dreams on a huge piece of paper she hangs on the inside of her closet door. Not only has she succeeded in getting an MBA from Pepperdine in the years since we first met, but she has also fulfilled her dream of starting her own catering business in L.A., which is now thriving. When I write down my goals and dreams, it clarifies to me and the universe what I expect to accomplish. Please excuse me now while I go finish my list. Happy 2007!
